Hello hello... SonVer on livejournal, what's going on?
Jo and I are going to use this LJ as a studio/gig diary of sorts, something less formal than our website and more user-friendly than Myspace.
So, on the advertisory front:

Next SonVer gig:
Wednesday 12th July @The 12 Bar Club, Denmark St, London. After that, we're playing our biggest UK date so far on Sunday 23rd July, at The Ashton Court Festival in Bristol. We're playing the Blackout Tent at 3.20pm, so if you're going to the festival, make sure you don't miss us...

We've been spending a bit of time writing new tracks recently, and two of them will be in the live set for the forthcoming shows.

We're also working on a 4-track EP at the moment, which will include 3 brand new tracks and a live version of 'The Bell Tower', recorded in Leeds in March 2006. We just need to decide which new tracks we're going to put on the EP, and which ones we're going to hold back for our second album...

But tonight, we're rehearsing for the 12 Bar & Ashton Court shows, both of which we're very much looking forward to, especially as we still seem to be on a high from our gig in Leipzig. Hope to see some of you at the gigs this month...
